i’ve been starting to realise in the last few months that with the deployment of additional blockchains showing up promising faster transaction speeds or a different way of emission that they are all gonna need ‘apps’ for them to be useful.
it’s all very well building a blockchain but you need a community of people to actually be using it — a lot of these people are waiting for the launch of the EOS main net for instance, i’m not sure if those waiting for it realise that it took nearly nineteen iterations of the steem blockchain code before it was the platform it is today.
I’ve been wanting to write this post for a while and peter dropped me a message on telegram to maybe try and connect the dots together between the concepts and actually linking developers together to making the applications a reality.
i’ve been bouncing between getting a copy of framer or sketch and i’ve not made up my mine yet, it’s like £100 for either of them and it’s gonna need me to focus up and to get things made, i’m gonna have to deep dive on it as well, i might have to see if i can find a course for it.
It’s probably a good idea if you take a video of the video, sorry it’s like fifteen minutes long but I think it gives you a good idea of what I’m trying to create — these projects are not something you can just fire up and be done they are probably going to shift and move over time and they probably need a lot of debating to see what they become.
I think small features first, MVP versions of the ideas and then iterate as you go, you have to start somewhere right — I don’t want to build that is a service looking for a problem, I want to build solutions to very real problems that I have in my day to day life.
Legacy of my ‘proof of brain’ when I was here, basic income on blockchains for those with time and skills to barter and then future ways of connecting with each other with video comments and collaborative media making — they are things I wish existed today on this blockchain that don’t.
