To say that the U.S. federal government is a little less than truthful would be the understatement of the century. It's expected that politicians bend the truth. When it comes to power and money, the incentive to lie is always there; and it's very often chosen. But lying can turn into an addiction ... a chronic addiction. When it's all corruption and lies, the downward spiral of society acts as a reflection of it.
