Gina, I love you

Hope all of you are well.

Today I am going to tell about @ginabot. How to register and how to set also why we should assign GINAbot to notify us.

Let's start,

GINAbot

GINAbot is a bot who will give you the notification about your Steemit account activity in Discord. She works overtime

How to get GINA bot

If you want to get GINAbot

• You should join Minnow Power Server at Discord.

• Go to their #registration channel.
  

• Type ..reg steem username .Example ..reg tdas0

• She will provide you code(memo) so that she can verify your account.

• Now send her 0.001 SBD or Steem. With the memo she provides. She will send the amount back as soon as she verifies your account.

• Now type ..set

• She will DM you a link to set up your account.

Set Up Your Account

Click the link she gave you in DM. If you go through the link you will get a window like below

Tick on the active notification. Then you will see which platform you prefer. As you are a steemitian steemit.com will be the default. Then you will see the time zone info. Set your time zone.
It is the general setting.

Now come to Basic setting

In Basic setting first, you can set up Comment notification. Here you will see 3 option

1. Self means if you make a comment GINA will notify you.
2. Other means if anyone makes a comment on your post she will notify you of this comment.
3. Deleted means if anybody makes a comment but he/she deletes it later she will notify it to you.

In basic now you can setup Notification for Transfer

1. Self-means if you transfer any amount to others account she will send a notification.
2. Other means if anybody sends you some sbd/steem she will notify you.

Delegation
There are two option one is incoming other is outgoing

1. Incoming delegation means you get some sp from other users
2. Outgoing Delegation means you delegate some sp to other users.
   This both option Gina will notify you if you activate this option.
   In this section there is an option named return vest means if you delegate some sp and cancel it when you will get the sp it will show you this. To active this tick on "Active"

Rewards
After that, you will get the rewards section here you will see Curation Rewards & Author rewards here you will set time to get a notification. This section helps you to know when your payout arrives.
If you make it off no notification will send to you about when you got the rewards
If you set it instant you will get a notification instantly after your post-payout.
And Schedules means if you want to get a notification of rewards you can set it daily, weekly and monthly. She will notify you.

After that, we enter Extra
Here we will get many things
1.Mention
Its main work is to notify you if you set someone id in here. Example if you set @steemtuner she will give you all those content in which author mention @steemtuner.

2.Reblogs/Resteem.
Means someone shares your post.she will notify you. And If you tick in self you will get a notification about which post you reblogged.

3.Follow
if you follow someone, and someone follows you Gina will notify you in DM at Discord.

4.Vote
Vote means upvote she will notify you if anyone votes your post and how much it's value. If if you tick on UP when someone upvotes you she will notify.
If you tick on DOWN she will notify you how gives you downvotes.
If you select Self when you make an upvote on a post she will notify you how much the vote value is and how much percent you make an upvote.
Cancel vote means if someone upvotes you first and later if he/she cancels his vote Gina will notify you.

5.New post
If you have a favourite author you can write his/her name on the box Gina will notify you if your favourite author writes a post on steemit.
You can also tick on Self, She will also notify you if you write a post.

6.Blacklisted Author
If you don't want to see anyone post or any update from him/her you can write the author name in the box and Gina will not notify you for any of his/her content.

7.Blacklisted Tag
This is also the same as the number 6. If you have an unfavourite tag you can write it in the box and Gina never notifies you any contest that's made by this tag.

8.Word watch
I hope word watch works if you have a favourite word write it in the box Gina may notify you by sending all author post who used your favourite word. I never used this

9.Post watch
I have no idea about this. So it's better to skip it. But you can see the details in this photo.

At last, we come to our last point It's MAXI
Here we found 2 option

1. Tag
   If you have a favourite tag you can write it in the box Gina will notify you all the post which contain your favourite tag.

1. Witness vote
   If you set someone as a witness Gina will notify. It also works when you remove someone from your witness.

You must click on the Save Change or Gina will not work for you.

You can change the setting any time just send a DM type ..set
Then she sends you a link click it and goes setting window.
It was the full setup. After the setup, Gina will start to notify you.
She will work on your command. She may send so many notifications that can irritate you.
If you want to stop notification temporary send her ..stop
Gina works 24/7 for me so I love her too much.
