A fellow was stuck financially in his life. He prayed to God for help.
Soon a man named Satoshi Nakamoto released bitcoin for free and bitcoin shouted to the man, "Jump in, I can save you."
The stranded fellow shouted back, "No, it's OK, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me."
So bitcoin went upwards and upwards.
Then the June 2011 came by and bitcoin shouted, "Jump in, I can save you."
To this the stranded man said, "No thanks, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith."
So bitcoin went on to make multiple gains.
Then April 2013 came along and bitcoin shouted down, "Grab this bitcoin and I will lift you to safety."
To this the stranded man again replied, "No thanks, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith."
So bitcoin reluctantly took off.
Soon his life was over and the man died poor with the banks owning his money. He went to Heaven. He met with God, at which he exclaimed, "I had faith in you but you didn't save me, you let me drown in debt. I don't understand why!"
To this God replied, "I sent you bitcoin for free, then the 2011 crash to get in cheap and then again in 2013, what more did you expect!?"

No one knows when the next crash is going to happen, and it's not that important. What matters is if you believe in the long term for bitcoin, then buy same amount, same frequency, whatever the price and don't sell. Dollar cost averaging is the most powerful math tool we have to not have to time the market and still reap the rewards of the dips when they happen!
