Like they say life is too short, too short to be worried about bills and responsibilities, and certainly too short to be worrying about things you have no control over. Bearing this in mind I decided to live a little and it’s going pretty well for me.
After studying so hard to complete my Master's Degree in Italy I finally did and I got a job in a different city, was I happy? Absolutely!
It took a while to process my papers before I headed to Malta, my new home.
I am more than excited to share this adventure with you all.
Moving from Italy to Malta was both exhilarating and challenging but I got here anyway and I am happy to show you all the beautiful places I have visited within a short period of time.
Having previously studied in Italy I can say that Malta is a beautiful city and the people here are friendly and accommodating.
For so many people in my country who might only know Malta through ‘Malta Guinness,’ which is a drink, here’s a quick geography lesson:

The Maltese people speak Maltese and English, so communication isn’t so difficult as you can find so many Maltese speaking English.
I visited some lovely places. My first stop was at the Triton fountain at Valletta and Valleta is the capital of Malta, taking a glance at the fountain you can see three tritons holding a basin, and it looks so cute.
The fountain was said to have been named after Triton the Greek god of the sea. Seeing how historic this fountain is I couldn’t help but strike a pose in front of it.
Apparently, the fountain is one of the first things you’d see if you are just entering Malta, and according to what I was told the fountain is more beautiful at night than during the day.
I also visited the Sliema waterfront and I couldn’t help but take in the viewthe view. The boats shown in these pictures are privately owned but if you wish to take a ride you can take the ferry at a very affordable price. I didn’t take a ride this time but on my next visit, I’m sure as hell going on that ferry😃
In Sliema I got to see beautiful buildings and streets, the streets look so busy yet perfectly clean.
Exploring the beautiful capital Valletta I got to see so many tourists and tour guides going around and since this is summer tourists visit the country more.
While in Valletta I also visited the Embassy cinema where I watched Deadpool and Wolverine
Going to the pool was not exempted as I visited the pool with my friends although I didn’t swim as I am yet to perfect my swimming skills.
I also had the opportunity to visit the Bufni Gardens, located at Il maqluba, Qrendi, towards the countryside, away from the city
My stay in Malta has been nothing but fun and I hope it remains that way.
