Monochrome Monday back in the local Cemeteries
Well another week has flown by, and Monday has arrived which for me means a Mono post
this week I am sharing some images from a couple of walks in local Cemeteries namely St Mary's and St John's, both beautifully maintained cemeteries with some interesting headstones
Starting with this one which really caught my eye in the shape of a tree trunk, I do not remember ever seeing one like this before quite unique I thought

this headstone I found quite touching with the small child and the cross looking like its made from wood in shape even if not in texture

IT got me thinking if when my time come to be and I pass what headstone would I like, and to be honest I think this tree trunk idea is what I favor at the moment
but that said, even though I enjoy walking through older cemeteries and imagining the lifes of the people buried there, I think I would prefer to be cremated and my ashes poured into the sea somewhere and not have a burial plot and headstone, that way if anyone wanted to go and think of me they could go to the beach anywhere and do so.
Now thats a bit morbid I guess thinking about this subject so lets continue with more headstones
