Milford City Hall

When Walking by the Duck Pond in Downtown Milford I am right by the Milford City hall, with its cool clock tower, and for this post I thought I would share a few shots of it, this one focusing on the clock tower.

This current Milford City Hall, is the fifth city hall building that has been on this same location. It was built in 1916 and was designed to resemble Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. It is located right along the Wepawaug River in downtown Milford.

This next shot shows the full building from the front side, I really like this building both its style and the contrast of the brick walls and the white works

My main focus on the walk when I took these shots was clearly on the clock tower, this time it standing proud behind the flags.

I really need to get out for a walk one evening to get some shots of the building at night again, they have lights on the roof of the building that light up the clock tower at night, which make sit look pretty cool, now that I have mentioned this I had to go and find an older shot to show what it looks like at night, this is a shot from back in 2016 around this time, with St Patricks Day approaching there's a good chance it is lit up green at the moment
