A post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.
For this weeks post, I am sharing shots taken in Central Park, now you may well think and quite rightly that Central parkis a Park and not a Market, especially when you see my shots of it in the early morning in other posts with often no people in sight, well these shots were taken around midday on a visit there and will show there are many stalls in and around the park so it is a Market of sorts.
This first shot was outside of the Park near 5th Avenue and 59th Street, and I just noticed when I edited this shot I was spotted taking this photo, this vendor was clearing hoping to make some sales from visitors who had not allowed for the cooler weather

And still in the same spot, a vendor for if you get hungry or thirsty walking around the park

And while still on the subject of needing a snack or drink while in the park, you do not have to head out of the park, there are vendors all around the park such as this one just off The Mall

This is just a small selection of the many vendors in the park, some offering ( for a fee) to do a portrait or a caricature, selling all sorts of things including art of different styles which will be another post on another day
