Macys

Last night I started sharing shots of the Festive displays around NYC with some Reindeer in this post and this morning I will continue with the festive display theme starting with some shots of Macy's at Herald Square

Starting with a shot of the Macys building and its big shopping bag

As you can see witht he people layered up it has cooled down here, and by allthe people in this first shot you can see this was around midday and not like most of my NYC photos early morning with very few people

In the first shot you can see one of the main entrances into Macy's and the clock this second shot shows the clock and the display above the entrance.
this Macys store is pretty impressive with many floors but if we need something from Macy's we normally go to the local one which doesn't get as busy as this one, but if in the city its worth visiting to experience, I particularly love they have an old escalator with wooden features which is well worth checking out

As you can see the theme for this year is Believe in the wonder, now I forgot to get a shot of the big Believe lights they have on the Side Street, but to get this post out today I will include a shot of it from last year

Also down the side Street off Herald Square is the big Turkey they have over one of the entrances, with the Empire State building in the background.

in this post I will not show the main windows, but focus more on the outside displays and the Yes victoria there is a Santa Claus windows,

These were the main display a few years ago and were so popular they have bene putting them onthe side windows for the last few years, and even though I see them each year I still like checking them out.
I only got a couple of shots of them this year, as I was on my lunch break and running short of time and so many people were stopping for selfies by them it was hard to get shots showing the displays
