Fort Phoenix at sunrise

Good Morning all have a good day

To be honest these are photos from a visit to the Fort Phoenix State Reservation early one morning a few months back, I do miss getting out for my morning walks at the moment, due to a mix of it being winter and cold in the early morning as the sun rises, and although my wives shoulder is improving she still can not use it much and I don't like leaving her alone at home sleeping and going out for a walk worried she may wake up and need to get up, after all getting out of bed was how she slipped and broke her shoulder.

So for now when time permits and its not raining I plan to get out for some afternoon or evening walks around the area.

but for today let me revisit a previous visit to the Park

Near to the part of the park that has the cannons, one has this view over the rocky and grassy portion of the park.

When I have visited this park in the evenings I have seen people sitting on those benches enjoying the view, but on early morning visits anyone there which is often not many and getting steps in and not using the benches.

This next shot is standing on the Hurricane Barrier wall, looking back into Fort Phoenix Park, you may be able to make out the cannons to the right of the flag.

And one last shot looking back along the beach with the lights of New Bedford seen over the water.

You may think there is more light in this last shot than the earlier ones but thats just because it was a long exposure at 30 seconds, in fact I often in post share photos in the order they were taken, but for this post I did the opposite
