Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

Last week I did this post flowers in our garden showing some of the flowers growing in our garden, and this post is a follow on from that showing some new flowers that came up this past week.
This first one is now my favorite of the flowers that we grew from seeds, its called a Cornflower a species of Knapweed and is also known as Bachelors button, Garden Cornflower, Blue Cap, Bluebottle or Bachelor button.
Its the blue color of course that make sit my favorite, those that follow me know I love the color blue, often even my B&W images are more Blue and White LOL
and the bonus of the little visitor on it for this shot makes it my favorite shot for this post

Next up showing the pots these flowers are growing in, looking out the window this morning there is a bunch more of the yellow flowers maybe 10 or so in total and about 5 of these blue flowers, the yellow flowers last a few days and then the petals fall, these Cornflowers stay longer.
It looks so theres some new flowers about to bloom also in these pots will be interesting to see what they are, now you may think if i planted them I should know what is coming, well the seeds in these pots were in packets of mixed flowers so it is a surprise for us :)
