Fairhaven Boat ramp

I have had time to do some photo editing of shots taken a while back, this is from a visit tot he Town of Fairhaven Boat ramp early one morning around sunrise, and i know I titled this post the boat ramp, but this is my favorite shot from this morning, to me its a very calming image and so I added it first, but I was on the boat ramp when I took this

the next shot shows the boat ramp, as you can see its a fairly small one, compared to some others in the area, the morning i was there it was mostly used by fisherman in small boats to get their boats in the water and head out fishing

And speaking of fisherman, here is one of the little boats I was talking about, the fisherman was parking his car and out of shot, the problem with long exposure images and having people in shot, is unless they stand totally still they either become blurry or if its a real long exposure they don't even appear in the image.
now that can be a good thing sometimes, when you want to focus on the view and not on people in the shot.
and as for appearing blurry I will show what I mean later in the post

Often by Boat ramps here they have one of these frames for people to leave their small boats and often like this one they are so colorful I have to catch a shot of them

Another view from the side of the boat ramp with some nice subtle colors in the sky over the boats

And I mentioned earlier in a log exposure if there is a person and they move it becomes blurry almost like a ghostly figure this next shot shows what I mean
