Early morning by the port
Good Morning, I hope everyone's weekend is starting well.
for todays post I am sharing a few shots from an early morning walk down by the port, I think a good part of why I love early morning walks, other than not many people are out and about and hence it is so peaceful and quiet, is the morning blues, blue has been my favorite color as long as I remember.
The morning I took these shots it was indeed so peaceful and quiet, I don't think I saw anybody walking around on the docks while I was there.
It was a cloudy morning, and gave a nice deep moody feel to the sky and some cool reflections on the water

I saw the smoke rising in the background behind the boats in the distance a long exposure worked well to capture it in a smoky hazy perhaps surreal way I think

And I do love reflections so this next one is looking from the back of the Sea Streak Terminal across the water towards the Swing Truss Bridge between New Bedford and Fairhaven, the other reflection shots show mainly white light on the water, I think the reds and greens glowing over the water looked pretty cool

And more reflections looking across the water towards Fairhaven

And in the same area I noticed all these Buoys on the back of a commercial fishing boats, I guess the writing on them is so the fisherman can identify there buoys and recover traps when they go out to pull them in and see what they have caught
