Black and white photo contest Minimalism
Another photo challenge I have been totally slack and not submitted for a while is the Black and white photo Challenge hosted by

I didn't often do bird shots because I do not have the patience to stay still long enough to get good shots of them, with the exception of seagulls, they are so used to people they happily fly all around us or as in the case of this one standing on the pier at Gulf Beach.
one defintion I =found for this style is
Minimalism is a style employed by many 20th Century artists, using a minimum amount of components such as color, shape, line and texture. Within the art world it is considered an extremely subjective concept, leaving interpretation and meaning up to the viewers perception of the work
I am not 100% sure these shots fit this description but they are as close as I have.

and a second shot of the steeple of a church in downtown Milford, the metal spike and cable on the cross are a lightning rod and grounding cable to attract lightning strikes to the pole and not to other parts of the building.
