A busy day as but got some shots of art

I went into work today thinking it was going to be a quiet day, but it turns out I got that wrong, was busy for most of the day so did not get as many steps in as usual, but a good day all in all.

It was cool when I got to the city and since I thought I was going to have a quiet day I planned to take a walk at lunchtime to get my steps in, but a I will explain why with the photos below, that wasn’t to be so I got some steps in between buildings and a quick walk before catching the train to come home after work.

My Walk around shots today were art-related so let me share some street art I saw in the West Side a while back to start the post before getting to my iPhone Photos

I am not sure of the meaning in this piece of art but I do like the colors and style of it

Random shots taken during the day.

I took a couple of shots on the walk to the office this morning and had a couple of options what sort of them I would got for today on my later walks, and then another option came up with a quick fire challenge from @wwwiebe for Membes of the SteemUSA community to get shots of a Church Bell tower, so I had plenty of ideas for shots to get today.

Here is the shot from the walk to work I decided to start my iPhone shot part of the post with this interesting piece of art I passed this morning

As I was sitting at my desk thinking of here I could go to get shots today a colleague came in and mentioned an awards ceremony that his team had been nominated for was on this morning and asked me if I had my camera and could take some photos for them, I said Sure but I dont have the right lens for it, if he had told me yesterday ( but thinking about it I wasn’t in yesterday so how could he LOL) I would have brought in another lens, but anyway I thought I could get a walk in before the ceremony but that didnt pan out as my phone kept on ringing today which is old for making the day go fast but not so much for getting steps in.

THis is where the Awards Ceremony took place the Trusteeship Council chamber, if you have ever done a tour of the uN you may have sene it, it is included in tours if no meetings are going on in it, I know this as a tour was in there when I arrived, I have never done the tour myself.

Now I know that may have no real significance to the subject but ther eis the statue in the left corner of the shot above, and i tried zooming in on the phone for this shot

As it happened my colleagues team did not win the Award but they had me take a couple of shots of the group anyway which I had to quickly edit at work and send tot hem, well I didnt have to from any pressure from them, I just wanted ot get it done today, but i wont share those shots but will share some other art I saw such as this mural outside the conference room
