My Actifit Report Card: November 18 2019 Time for a Mop Chop
Time for a Mop Chop
Ok for the title for me a Mop Chop is a term I was used to back in NZ for getting a haircut, but I see online in the urban dictionary it being defined as A bad situation or anything perceived as unpleasant, also commonly use as an exclamation int times of displeasure or angst, Which is new for me never heard of it used in that way till now.
What does the term Mop Chop mean to you?
OK for today's activity, it was a dull and damp day with light misty rain almost like icy rain at times for most of the day so not that conducive for walking, but I managed to get an OK amount of steps in, with to an from work and lunch, plus a walk tot he Old Tyme Barbershop where I got my hair cut and beard trimmed today, and that's what I will share some shots of later in the post.
Was a pretty quiet day today for most of the day, a little rust of business first thing and then waiting for some people to send the forms I need to fill out to start the paperwork needed for leaving the company but with over 3 months to go I guess they do not see it as a rush maybe tomorrow they will send the forms.
I was not sure what photos I had that would fit with this post but I found this shot of the Met Life Building as seen from Park Ave, that fits in with my Phone shots from today

The name is apt as it does have the old-time feel with the old style chairs and the hot towels etc etc, and Mike who I go to does a great job, they often have a chalkboard outside with a fun message but they ere still working on its design for this week when was there.
As I said I walked around the block under this scaffolding

This is around Park Ave and 41st and 40th Street, and as I was taking the first couple of shots I thought of the brass ( I think they are brass) plates on the footpath that you may have noticed in the last few shots, which I have seen many times but I am not sure i have shared them so let me show you a few of them.
Starting with the Chrysler Building not because its my favorite building but because it is the first photo of them I took
