A Walk around Mondo Pond Trails
It was just on Freezing when I woke this morning so I decided to skip my morning sunrise walk by the beach, not ready for those cold temps just yet so I stayed in, but later in the day I did get out for a walk around the mono Pond trails where the sun was out and a more comfortable temperature, the lovely fall colors have faded away and with the cold temp this morning and talks in the forecast of snow possible at the end of this week, I think Winter is trying to come early, but I hope I am wrong, I am not a Bear and cannot hibernate for Winter and will just have to toughen up and deal with it :)
But let me start with a couple of shots from a week or so ago, when the colors were out around the ponds, before I show you how it looked today later in the post, I did see them with more colors from the train, but missed a walk there when the colors were at peak.

I seem to always get a shot of this property beside the ponds on my walk aroudn the trails, I think I would be out regularly walking these trails if I lived there.

At the start of my walk, you can see the rain and wind we have had recently have washed or blown down most of the colorful leaves

And looking across the ponds, I did like the glistening onthe water, but not so much the bare trees , but even so it was such a lovely walk
