Dumbo

For this evenings acifit post I share some photos taken with my iPhone on a morning walk around Dumbo

No not Dumbo the Disney Elephant but DUMBO in Brooklyn DUMBO stands for Down Under Manhattan Brooklyn Bridges

One thing I love about this area is the Cobblestone streets so I had to get a shot or two of them including this first shot with cobblestones and an old train track on what is now a footpath.

And a little further along on my morning walk I came across this stop sign which someone had added a little more to it and I thought it was a very apt message for these times

And here i am in Brooklyn Bridge park looking at the Manhattan Bridge which will be in a couple of shots in this post, even though I took shots of Brooklyn bridge as well I decided to go with thots of the Manhattan Bridge instead maybe just because so many focus on the Brooklyn Bridge when in this area and I like to be different :)

And just after saying that the next shot I share actually shows a portion of the Brooklyn Bridge but my main focus here was the cool buildings which have been converted into shops and apartment buildings on the right and the cobblestone streets

That the Manhattan Bridge in the background and you can see the Empire State Buildings under the bridge, and also quite a few people on the street and sidewalk taken photos

And this is on the Brooklyn Bridge which I walked across to catchy he subway back to the office, and gave me a little chuckle, the Sign warn of a fine for putting locks on the bridge and some people clearly did not like that rule and out locks right above the sign

I did take a few shots of the Brooklyn bridge both with my cellphone and my Sony Camera, but decided that's enough for this post, I will save the cell phone shots for a day where I get my steps in and don’t have any photos to share

Shadow Contest Entry Office Shadows

And this will also be an entry for the ShadowContest hosed by @melinda010100 where this week theme is office shadows as detailed in this postand I share this shot I took this morning in one of the corridors in our office building, now it may be debatable if th3ese are shadows or reflections but I say there are some shadows in there :)

Automatic Win

I wasn’t aiming for the Automatic Win this morning on my Walk I was just enjoying the walk, but when I went o go to the cafeteria to get a drink at 9:30 while in the queue I took a look to see how many steps I had done and was surprised to see i was over 10K so attaching a screen shot to show the Automatic Win
