A grey morning

For this evenings acifit post I share some photos taken with my iPhone
After the heat yesterday luckily we had some storms come through that have brought the temperatures down even if only for one day and its looking like its going to be a very hot weekend,

We will be getting rain on and off today and it was grey and overcast when I got off the train this morning plus i had an early meeting so I went direct to the five to start the day and lets start with some shots from then and see if I get any more during the day

Starting with a shot walking past these yet to open booths in one of the passageways in Grand Central

Ad now outside Grand Central Waiting to cross the road, I guess the dark feel to this shot sort of reflects my mood at the moment with this grey day and some things going on at work

And I just had to share a shot of NYC venting its steam, Don’t worry I am still in Mono mode but color comes later on in the post

And Since today is International Nelson Mandela Day, I thought I would share this shot of a statue of him in the Visitors area of the United Nations building

All in all a good day, got over my 10K goal, a little stress with some things going on but I try to not let stress get to me so moving along with smiles and sunshine( even though there is not much sunshine here today)
