A day with fog rain and thunder

Today we had a mix of weather, with nice blue skies as I was catching the train, through to thick fog in the city ( see the last photo), its too boring a photo to put first but shows how dense the fog was, then we had rain and lightning where I stayed indoors for the most part and hence a lower step count today but I managed to get my 10K weekday goal in plus a little extra

So let's start with the blue Skies as I waited for the train this morning, this was a little before 5 AM

And here I am getting off the train along with the crowd of others rushing to their places of work

And moving front he tracks to the terminal, funny how everyone ignores the stop sign, of course.
Most had headed directly into the terminal, But a few walk this way down beside the tracks

Here is a shot of people walking through the main terminal. Bear in mind this is around 6:45 in the morning so thats when the station is quiet, it gets a lot busier later in the morning

Zari’s does good business in the morning you can see people Queuing up there as I walked past

And here i am walking down one of the corridors to head out of Grand Central

And finishing off with the shot I mentioned at the start looking across the east River, and you cant even see a hint of Long Island City , OK if you quint maybe you can see a hint of it on the left, that little island is in the Middle of the East River and just barely visible
