The brightest time of year has come. The sun rises at half past three. I went for a walk at four o'clock, and the alley was crossed by slanting shadows of the sun that had just risen. There are very few people on the street, sometimes you can meet cyclists or companies that have been walking all night. But most of the city's residents are still asleep.
This alley runs along the Griboyedov Canal. On the left you can see the grating of the canal, on the right you can see the building of Nikolskiy market.
Sometimes watering machines pass through deserted streets.
Linden blooms.
Saint Isaac's Cathedral.
Manege, Central Exhibition Hall.
Senate and Synod building.
Fishermen on the Neva River can be found at any time of the day or night.
I reached the Bronze Horseman at 5:30 in the morning. Compared to the empty streets I showed you earlier, it's just a crowd of people.
