You're assuming that people will make a switch from a FREE SYSTEM with no limitations of interactivity. To a system where it actually costs to interact (RC is still a cost.)

Many are not getting a choice in the manner. They are being removed for simply expressing their views. There were 8 million sign up for whatever that twitter clone is that the conservatives were jumping on.

Also, there is no FREE SYSTEM as people are finding out. Do you honestly believe that people will keep going back to the social media sites after all that is taking place? Right now a large portion of the voting public in the US disagrees with what is taking place on social media and getting themselves censored. Will all leave? Of course not. But a percentage are being displaced.

Take aggroed's tribe system for example. He wants hundreds of dollars upfront to create a tribe for people. So he really doesn't give a crap if it's a good tribe or not.. he gets paid is what matters to him. Yet that means his product doesn't really appeal. So it's a microservice.

Yep need cheap community set up..a few hive and one has a community and a token...not hundreds of dollars.

3Speak airdrop might be a clever tactic then.. but they have not made clear how their system will work. They also have poor marketing. So again, it might be yet another HIVE INTERNAL project that gets no eyes where it matters and might be dead in the water due to that.

Because as I pointed out in the beginning of this comment, that's hoping that users will switch from a free system to a paid system without even having a clue how this paid system works.

They wouldnt? Didnt they all jump on board the "free" system without knowing how it truly works? Only now are people starting to realize what is going on with FB, YT, and Twitter.

Getting traffic is broken because there's a clear cost. HIDDEN but it's there.

There is a cost to a network everywhere. All systems cost money to run. And users are beginning to realize that when the ToS suddenly change and they users are suddenly on the short end of the stick. Why is that? Because the ones who funded the network want to get paid.

So the monetization for the funders takes place while the demonetization of the users happens.
