There is a lot of chatter online about the leaked email from Elon Musk announcing the layoff of Tesla employees. Of course, the mainstream financial media misrepresents what the email said.
In this video I discuss how this is not an indicator of demand (which is still strong). Instead, we are seeing how there was some fat acquired in some areas as the company expanded over the last couple years. This is common. No staff that builds cars, batteries or installs solar panels is being laid off.
