This is a semi-regular series that I will run on Fridays to hold discussions on a current topic from the week gone. The aim is to keep them light and conversational, though some might be heavier - regardless of the content topic itself though, just have some fun engaging and discussing with whoever happens to put in the effort in the comments section below.
We Talk Friday Ep. 41: What an Animal
The incompetency of the current US administration is astounding.
If you haven't heard, Trump posted to his "Truth" social a clip that depicted the Obamas as apes, then the government said it was fake outrage to the response, and then later blamed staff for posting the clip. Their reaction to everything they fuck up is similar to a child proclaiming their innocence to the accusation of eating chocolate that they shouldn't have, while their fingers and around their mouth is covered in chocolate. For people who lie so much, you'd think they'd be better at it by now. Especially how often they get caught.
But since there is no consequence, they don't care.
Anyway, the incompetence aside, I thought for this WTF we could play a little game of "Which animal are you?" except instead of choosing what animal you think you are, you have to say what animal your friends would choose for you, or your partner. Or your mother, if you don't have friends or a partner. Or the stranger at the bus stop. Or that cute cashier you don't have the guts to ask out.
- Add a picture of the animal
- And a reason why you think they'd choose it.
Hopefully you will have some fun with it and perhaps if game, you might want to ask a friend or two what they would choose for you, to see if how you think they see you and how they actually see you is in anyway close.
