I have read that some imagine Heaven to be boring. There is no pain, no suffering, just a constant state of feeling good.
I had some arguments with an ex about this. She believed in the possibility of a perfect world, which I think is impossible, even at the philosophical level. The problem with perfect is that in order to be so, we can't have any preferences, which means that we also can't have any choices. If we have a choice between the color red and blue and both are perfect, how can we choose? If we have a preference, it means that one is better than the other, making it automatically imperfect. Apply that at scale, and the idea of a perfect heaven, is silly.
