We unfortunately don't have much by way of old photos, but I have photographed a bit of everything (including the staircase) for the future.
There are also no old tiles here (worth saving), but we are considering making something out of the wood we have uncovered, though it is very, very rough. The house walls are built from the planks that formed the concrete structure - which is pretty cool - also very dusty. What I am glad about is the saw dust that I have uncovered in the insulation is very, very dry.
This place is an unfortunate "brown" - so we will repaint it something else at some point at least, possible white. If it was a wooden house, we might make a different choice.
As for the doors, yeah - there are some pretty cool metal doors in the basement that we will try to refurbish as they are in terrible condition. I am guessing they are old fire doors as one closes off the garage, the other the oil room (that is no longer an oil room as of Tuesday).
