When you were at SteemFest, what was the average age do you think? Many of them were among the most invested users on the platform.
The likelihood for younger folk to invest and be a larger % of the investment pool over time is much higher in my eyes.
I would say possibility, not likelihood. If an app came with a decent use case that required large startup capital, it will likely come from an old dude.
Older/more mature investors may have more wealth, but most have it tied up in illiquid investments, have more overhead and other financial obligations to tie up that money.
What they can generate in liquid in a month could be what a younger person earns in a year, especially for the 20-somethings where unemployment is high.
And as said, age doesn't bring wisdom, experience does.
