Summer is the time when Beijing City's lakes and water bodies in different parks are filled with lotus, the beautiful lotus. Though last year I have visited several parks which are famous for their lotus beauty. But unfortunately, this year I have not completed such travel, but I am planning to visit some of them in the coming weekends.
In the meantime, my firsthand experience with these beautiful lotus flowers occurred at the Daxing International Airport, where they are nurtured in the China Garden, which I have already written about in a blog post full of natural beauty, located in the E section of the departure and arrival gates area.
When I visit the China Garden area, it was very hot as it was mid of the day but the beauty of the lotus always attract me wit the freshness and tenderness that it offers which is not found for the case of many flowers. I think the water-born characteristics make them so tender and fresh with attractive bright colors that no one can ignore.
Being a riverine country, in Bangladesh, I have the experience of water-born flowers but in Bangladesh you can find more water lily than the lotus. Water lily is our national flower, and you can find them almost everywhere. The pure white beauty of the water lily is a symbolic beauty for the Bangladesh low land that is under water during the rainy season. But we also have the pink waterlily dominating areas which are very popular in the country.
But we have some popular lotus booming area which are so popular as the color of these majestic flowers attract the young generation more to have their special photoshopping session. In the following section I am including some of the photos from the internet with source of the Bangladeshi water lily and lotus blooming water areas.
You can see the colorful water lily that is really soothing and they are the most loved places during the rainy season and can be found in different region of the country, especially more abundant in the southern part of the country due to lower land.
