Hello, dear fellows in the Hive Universe, especially the people who love traveling to explore the beauty everywhere around the world. I also love visiting new places when I get the opportunity.
As I have mentioned in my earlier post, the Hongluo Temple is located in Huairou, a countryside mountain area in the northeastern part of Beijing, China. The temple is situated at the foot of Hongluo Mountain, which is known for its scenic beauty and historical significance. The temple has a long history that dates back more than 1,000 years, and it has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. One of the most notable features of the Hongluo Temple is its pagoda forest, which contains a lot of ancient pagodas on the top peaks of the mountains at some distance. The visitors can also explore many buildings in that area including the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Hall of Great Mercy, the Hall of Mahavira, and the Jade Emperor Pavilion. Though I couldn't understand those buildings I visited all of them and took some beautiful pictures the statues are also very beautiful there which are very honorable who follow their religion or ideas from them.
Among all of these areas, I explored the longest queue of hundreds of statues while I was going down from one of the halls at the top of the mountain. The whole way was covered by a lot of statues by the walking stairs. The transparent box-protected views of those statues have significant meaning for the believers of Buddha and so they are being protected for a long time here. And still, so many people visit the place for their religious worship and other activities.
There were so many people in the way and many of them were worshiped by the roadside statues. I have noticed how sacred these are for those followers.
Another noticeable thing was that these statues have different poses with some physical movement that means some eternal message and meaning which I am completely ignorant of.
Also, there were short not describing every statue with their unique appearance at the bottom stage of them. But unfortunately, these written descriptions were in Chinese language and I don't know the language. But more serious visitors can manage some ways to learn about deeply there.
