It's not a public holiday but I think it in Trinidad. (Public holiday at carnival time)

I did not know that and wondering if that's the case in Brazil, because they also go all out with Carnival.

It's all about Christmas decorations now. A friend from the Phillipines told me that there, lol once the "-ber" months have started, Christmas decorations are up. I don't know if it is like that across all islands there.
