Greetings, dear friends of #Architecturedesign . I am again in this beautiful community to talk to you and show you another shopping center. This time, we will talk about Sambil Margarita, one of the largest on the island.
I particularly like shopping malls, not to go every day, but to go with my family and spend the day. That gives me the possibility to enjoy myself in a pleasant and safe environment. I will start by telling you, from my modest appreciation, how this cozy mall looks like.
Just upon entering, it is gratifying because it is well air-conditioned, something very important on the island due to the intensity of the heat. I entered through the door with the name "Playa el Yaque".
Saludos, queridos amigos de #Architecturedesign . Me encuentro nuevamente en esta hermosa comunidad para hablarles y mostrarles otro centro comercial. En esta oportunidad, hablaremos de Sambil Margarita, uno de los m谩s grandes de la isla.
A m铆, en lo particular, me gustan los centros comerciales, no para ir todos los d铆as, sino para ir con mi familia y pasar el d铆a. Eso me da la posibilidad de disfrutar en un ambiente agradable y seguro. Comenzar茅 dici茅ndoles, desde mi modesta apreciaci贸n, como se ve este acogedor centro comercial.
Solo al entrar, es gratificante porque est谩 bien climatizado, algo muy importante en la isla debido a la intensidad del calor. Entr茅 por la puerta que tiene el nombre "Playa el Yaque".
The Sambil mall has several entrances, as does the La Vela mall, each with a name that identifies it. I like that because it helps me to locate myself.
El centro comercial Sambil tiene varias entradas, al igual que el centro comercial La Vela, cada una con un nombre que la identifica. Eso me gusta porque me ayuda a ubicarme.
For me, the first and most important thing in enclosed spaces is lighting. As you can see in the photos I show you, the lights are recessed in the edges of the ceiling, placed at a short distance, which makes the lighting of its wide corridors perfect. It has part of the glass ceiling in some areas to take advantage of natural light, which increases clarity, and I love that.
Para m铆, lo primero y muy importante en espacios cerrados es la iluminaci贸n. Como podr谩n ver en las fotos que les muestro, las luces son empotradas en los bordes del techo, colocadas a corta distancia, lo que hace que la iluminaci贸n de sus amplios pasillos sea perfecta. Cuenta con parte del techo de vidrio en algunas 谩reas para aprovechar la luz natural, lo que aumenta la claridad, y adoro eso.
The lights combine very well with its roof, which is shaped like the bottom of a boat turned upside down. That contrast fascinated me and caught my attention, since it is a form of modern architecture that fits very well. As we live on an island, for the tourist it is something wonderful, just as it is for me.
Las luces combinan muy bien con su techo, que tiene forma del fondo de una embarcaci贸n volteada al rev茅s. Ese contraste me fascin贸 y llam贸 mucho mi atenci贸n, ya que es una forma de arquitectura moderna que encaja muy bien. Como vivimos en una isla, para el turista es algo maravilloso, igual para m铆.
I continued my tour passing by the pond where the Koi fish are located, in an area full of nature and a beautiful wooden bridge from where you can see these exotic fish from both sides. They even sell you a small bag of food so they don't give them anything else, and they let you feed them and take pictures. They were already very used to it and they don't mind the hustle and bustle around them, nor the lights.
Continu茅 mi recorrido pasando por el estanque donde se encuentran los peces Koi, en un 谩rea muy llena de naturaleza y un bello puente de madera desde donde puedes apreciar de ambos lados estos ex贸ticos peces. Incluso te venden una peque帽a bolsa de comida para que no les den otra cosa, y te dejan alimentarlos y tomarte fotos. Ellos ya estaban muy acostumbrados y no les molesta el ajetreo de su alrededor, ni las luces.
As in some of the malls I have visited, on the sides of the aisles are its stores, decorated to the taste and service they can provide. It has a closed area, but well decorated and signposted, which is the Bingo Flamingo, where people usually play to their liking. It is a very reserved area, as gambling is not my thing I do not buy tickets to enter.
Como en algunos de los centros comerciales que he visitado, a los laterales de los pasillos se encuentran sus tiendas, decoradas al gusto y servicio que pueden brindar. Tiene un 谩rea cerrada, pero bien decorada y se帽alizada, que es el Bingo Flamingo, donde las personas suelen jugar a su gusto. Es una zona muy reservada, como jugar no es lo m铆o no compro boletos para entrar.
I continued my tour, enjoying the rest areas that are always in the center of the corridors. They always vary in their decoration; at some points they place aluminum benches with palm trees and at others, they decorate large wooden benches.
Continu茅 mi recorrido, disfrutando de las 谩reas de descanso que siempre est谩n en el centro de los pasillos. Var铆an siempre en su decoraci贸n; en algunos puntos colocan bancos de aluminio con palmeras y en otros, decoran grandes bancos de madera.
It has a movie theater called "Cine Unido", which has several rooms inside, before entering the rooms there is a very well decorated waiting room, in fact, hanging from the ceiling small colorful boats and beautiful paintings on the walls, outside this area is a large cafeteria that always offers, among other things, excellent freshly made popcorn.
Cuenta con un cine que lleva por nombre "Cine Unido", que en su interior cuenta con varias salas, antes de entrar a las salas hay un sal贸n de espera muy bien decorado; de hecho, penden del techo peque帽os barcos de colores y lindas pinturas en sus paredes.Fuera de esta 谩rea se encuentra una amplia cafeter铆a que siempre ofrece, entre otras cosas, excelentes palomitas reci茅n hechas.
The mall has a gourmet lounge, right in the center of Sambil, where you can find the food to your liking, from a chicken to a hamburger, whatever takes your fancy.
Right in the center of the food court, there is a children's play area where the kids can expend their energy while the parents are busy looking for something to eat. In this area, the roof has a circular shape that catches the attention of all of us who visit it for its great beauty and originality. From the outside of the mall, this area has an upright shape like a circus tent. It is a mall with a very varied dynamic in its architecture, in my opinion, this is the charm that everyone sees in it.
El centro comercial, tiene un sal贸n gourmet, justo en el centro de Sambil, donde puedes encontrar la comida a tu gusto, desde un pollo hasta una hamburguesa, lo que se le antoje al paladar.
Justo en el centro del 谩rea de comida, se encuentra un 谩rea de juegos infantiles donde pueden gastar muy bien su energ铆a los ni帽os mientras los padres se ocupan de buscar qu茅 comer. En est谩 zona su techo hace una forma circular que a todos los que lo visitamos nos llama la atenci贸n por su gran belleza y originalidad. Desde la parte de afuera del centro comercial, esta 谩rea tiene una forma erguida como una carpa de circo. Es un centro comercial con una din谩mica en su arquitectura muy variada, en mi apreciaci贸n, este es el encanto que todos le ven.
Like every mall, it has its market and that is where we headed to conclude our tour, buying something to fill the house and have a snack in the evening.
My son, my husband and I spent most of the day touring the mall, but it is so big that I have left a lot to see and appreciate.
Como todo centro comercial, cuenta con su mercado y hacia all铆 nos dirigimos para concluir nuestro paseo, comprando algo para llenar la casa y merendar en la noche.
Mi hijo, mi esposo y yo pasamos gran parte del d铆a recorriendo el centro comercial, pero es tan grande que se me ha quedado mucho por ver y apreciar de 茅l.
