Recently my son has visited the USA approx. 10 days. He just returned back home to Thailand and sent me a lot of photos of various places in the USA. All of them are very beautiful, I love them all and wish to travel there some day.
One of the amazing places is Horseshoe Bend which is situated in Arizona.
According to Wikipedia, Horseshoe Bend (Arizona) - Wikipedia, “Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River”.
That’s why this place is called Horseshoe Bend.
From the parking area along the highway, there is a walk of approximately 2.4 kilometers to reach the place.
The Horseshoe Bend rises over a thousand feet above the Colorado River which looks outstanding and can be viewed from the above cliffs. The red rocks contrast beautifully with the color of the Colorado River.
