This is my entry and also my first time sharing my post for #wednesdaywalk an initiative of 
I'd like to take a day off today since it's a special day. Yet, there's a mountain of work I need to finish, and it's so urgent that I have to work overtime at my workplace.
My Mum and Sister visited my workplace in the afternoon. They brought a brown cake in the shape of a heart to my workplace for the birthday girl.

Upon their arrival at my workplace, we immediately began the birthday party with the cake. 
There are four people in my workplace. We just sliced the cake into four for sharing.

Then I continued working until the second part of the celebration, which is the birthday dinner.
We decided to have our meal at Sasa Seafood Restaurant near my workplace for dinner. It's only 2 minutes walk to the restaurant from my workplace. We just sat down at the table next to the cat that meowed at us when we arrived at the restaurant.
The cat said: Welcome !
The birthday girl decided all the dishes for her birthday dinner celebration and almost accidently picked more than 6 dishes from the food menu. As for the birthday dinner, we will only have 6 dishes based on the birthday girl's preferences.
Soup is a must for our dinner
Ham choi soup with tofu and sliced fish
Thai style chicken
Salted egg bitter gourd
Sweet and sour fish
Prawn tempura
Kam hiong squid
By the end of the dinner, we could not finish 4 of the 6 dishes. We requested the waitress to Tapau or pack up for takeaway for the unfinished dishes.

My Mum and Sister return home with the Tapau, and
I'm kind of moved after reading everyone's wishes for the birthday girl. Some of my close teenage friends who did not meet for more than 10 years still send birthday wishes to the birthday girl. I regret not wishing these friends a happy birthday, as I recall some of their birthday dates.
In addition, due to the busy life of managing business, I have to quit playing mobile game that require commitment. I'm shocked that even though I had quit playing the game for many years, still got gamer's friends from other countries such as Indonesia, Singapore and Australia still sending birthday wishes to the birthday girl. I thought they had already forgotten the birthday girl.
Their birthday wishes, as well as the ones from my family members, are the best birthday presents for the birthday girl this year.
