Hello everyone 👧.

I have my work outside my workplace today in the afternoon. After done my work matters, the traffic was very congested due to many people going back home at the same time. I don't like to drive my car with the slow-moving cars. Thus, I have my early dinner at a restaurant where I used to go during my university years.

As below picture, my Mum (now a retiree) used to work at the left building there. 15 years ago, when I'm still studying at a local university, I had to fetch my Mum back home from her work after my class by car.

Sometime, my class ended early. I have to find any activity to do while waiting for my Mum to clock out from her work. I often went to a food court or restaurant inside the business centre or the building near my Mum's workplace to kill the waiting time.

Korean Restaurant

This Korean restaurant which is inside the business centre was one of the places that I always went to while waiting for my Mum. I usually did my university's assignment and ate some snacks inside this restaurant.

Today, I'm having dinner here with my Mum. My Mum not only likes to travel with me, but she also likes to follow me to work.

My Mum was not familiar in ordering Korean food. So, I'm the one who decide the Korean dishes for our dinner.

This Korean restaurant offers drinking water for FOC (free of charge).

For your information, lots of Korean who work in Sabah stay in the apartment above this business centre. In addition, this restaurant was operated by a Korean owner who had stayed in Sabah for a very long period. Therefore, this restaurant was able to sustain its business during the pandemic. In Sabah, not many Korean restaurants were operated by Korean owners.

I went to Korea for travel before, the taste of the food in this restaurant was similar taste with the food that I ate in Korea.

Gimbap, was one of my favourite food or the food that I often ordered in this restaurant in my younger day. Last time, it only cost me RM6.00 for 10 pieces of Gimbap. Now, the price had increased to RM13.00.

I thought the pea that I holding with my chopsticks was a black soy bean, but not. It was peanut that was marinated with black soy sauce. My teeth suddenly feel shocked when biting this black peanut that I initially thought was a soft black soy bean.

The food I ordered was in big portions and expected 3 or 4 people to finish it. My Mum keeps on asking if we can finish the food that we ordered. I replied to her that we just enjoyed eating our food slowly and no hurry to rush back home with the heavy traffic.

We're looking at our mobile phones and consuming our food at the same time. Without noticing the time, we managed to finish all the food we ordered.

My Mum likes the delicious Kimchi in this restaurant. She asked me to buy a container of Kimchi for takeaway to share with my family at home.

Grocery Store

Still inside the same business centre, we went to the grocery store nearby the restaurant. We just went inside for window shopping only. I only took pictures of the goods that I am interested to share here.

I want to buy ice cream. My Mum did not allow me to buy it for not to consume too many sweets. Instead, she encouraged me to buy Beer or alcoholic drinks 😂.

At Home

I drink Korean Soju mixed with Yakult after settling down in my house. I select Soju because I have a Korean meal for my dinner just now. However, I watch Indonesian drama or Sinetron while enjoying my Soju.

That's all. Thanks for reading my post 🤗.
