Good morning everyone
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF OBSTACLES?
source
It means a blockage from moving forward. It means a siege that doesn't want a person to progress or be successful in life. Obstacles means barrier also because when there is an obstacle in one's life,it is a big problem because the fellow will not be able to move or make progress in life and that makes him/her depress and full of sadness.
Satan is the originator of Obstacles and so he put on the way of people who are not of God. Yes,it is when you are of God that nothing will harm you. God is our shield and that makes Christians(true) to be untouchable by him.
When there is obstacles in one's life,it seems as if he/she is not doing it well and people will start calling him names he doesn't bear. Obstacles are not good at all but Satan has deprived most people from getting access to the Almighty God and so he uses many devices to bring them to himself so he can manipulate them easily.
One of the ways through which Satan brings blockage to many lives is by material things. When you are enticed by the world, you will not move forward,it will seem as if you are but in the spiritual realm, you are on one spot due to the obstacle Satan has placed before you.
When the Lord Jesus Christ was born,King Herod tried every means to make sure He doesn't live because he never wants another king to reign apart from him. But he forgot that Jesus Christ was a beloved Son of God that no man on earth can harm him. He sent people to find where He was born but God warned those people not to return because he wants to kill Jesus.(Matthew 2)
King Herod was an obstacle that wants to kill Jesus and ruin His ministry here on Earth but God never allow that because He was a great man.
This means that once you are the beloved of God, there is no obstacle that will come your way at all because you are surrounded by the King of Kings.
God answers prayer quickly but it is your duty to continue praying so it can manifest in you because,it is one thing for God to grant your request, another thing is for Satan to block your helper's way which is called an Angel.
Daniel 10:10-13,
And,behold,an hand touched me,which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And he said unto me,O Daniel,a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me,I stood trembling. Then said he unto me,Fear not,Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God,thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia, withstood me one and twenty days: but lo,Michael one of the chief princes, came to help me;and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Here we can see how the request of Daniel was delayed and blocked by the king of Persia who is Satan. Daniel prayed to God and never knew that his prayer has been answered that very day he prayed but a power blocked the one that was sent to him. For twenty one days,Daniel was still praying for that same thing but for that period of time, king of Persia had delayed it. But thanks to Angel Michael that came to his aid and delivered him from Satan.
So that means,God answers prayer of His children but your fervent prayer will determine how fast and quick it will get to you. Some people, when they pray, they stop and expect God to act without continuously praying.
You need to PUSH so you can get your request quickly so you won't be sad about it. PUSH means Pray Until Something Happens. The Bible also said, "Pray without ceasing"
Satan is not always happy when God answers prayers so he find all means to get through it and block it for us but when we pray violently, we will receive what we are asking from God. He has done His part for answering us so if we don't want ours to be like Daniel and the king of Persia,we need to PUSH.
Another way Satan gets through us is LAZINESS. A lazy person cannot achieve anything rather he will only be on one spot and expect miracles to happen. It is impossible. God hates those that are lazy. Some people are lazy to pray their way through, they only wants to devise other ways to get there but you are only allowing Satan to come through and make you to be still in one place.
When others are praying for their breakthrough while you stand there watching them without making effort. When they finally get there, you starts questioning God and yourself on why you are even existing. God doesn't want us to be lazy in our work,so when we act fast,God will come to our aid and make us scale through from every obstacles.
Obstacles does not favour anyone rather it makes one to be useless in all ways. When you are only the one not making progress and others are moving, people will move away from you because they will think you are there to implicate them with your problem. But there is someone who can help you out if only you are ready to PUSH and not allow laziness deprive you of your right in God. When Satan sees people being fervent and prayerful,He becomes annoyed because you are untouchable. You can get out at anytime you want,it depends on how cordial your relationship is with God.
Jesus never relent in praying to God that was why He was able to conquer every obstacles that may want to come His way,He finally got the crown and we all are worshipping Him till today. Satan does not rest, so you also must not rest. He is working towards achieving his own goal,so Also you must not relent in achieving yours too which is breakthrough.
PRAYER POINTS: Father, please remove every obstacle from my way now in Jesus name. I refuse to be lazy but to push for my breakthrough to be manifested in Jesus name. Amen
GOD BLESS YOU FOR COMING BY
