Hello Everyone
In this blog i will share my life at Mozilla Pakistan that how get involved at Mozilla Firefox back in 2015 .
Firefox Student Ambassador Program: I began my journey as a Mozilla contributor from the FSA program. I started off by passing the “Club Lead Training Exam”, becoming the “Club Lead” of “Mozillians at AWKUM-SRK” Firefox Club and conducting a “Firefox Club Launch” event on campus to share about the benefits, activities & recognition criteria in the FSA program with my fellow students. Event Report: Club Launch Report. Afterwards I gradually began climbing the FSA Recognition ladder by getting the “Beginner Badge” then the “Trainee Badge” and finally the highest FSA Recognition level which I was able to achieve was was “Junior” in December 2015. Later the FSA program was abandoned in summer 2016 and I was unable to reach “Senior” level. I helped in organizing the FSA Camp Peshawar 2016 which was the first Mozilla event in my state/province. The area which I chose to start my contributions was Translating different Mozilla products that include Firefox, Firefox For Android, Firefox Aurora and Firefox OS into my local language Urdu. I held a Localization Week event on campus as well to train my fellows about how to perform Localization: https://mozilliansatawkum.wordpress.com/2015/11/25/localization-week/. Due to my consistent performances and enthusiasm, I was invited to and attended the “RTL L10N Hackathon” in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 3rd-5th October 2015. Wiki page: Wiki Page Jeff’s Event Report:

I was also invited to attend the “Paris L10N Hackathon” scheduled for October 2016 but it has been postponed to May 2017 due to visa issues of many participating Mozillians including both Staff and Contributors.
Currently I am a “Localizer + Reviewer” for the Urdu locale. My profile on Mozilla Pontoon is: https://pontoon.mozilla.org/profile/
The area in which I started contributing next was Testing the Beta, Aurora, Nightly versions of Firefox Desktop and Firefox for Android in Mozilla QA. I even contributed in Testing the Firefox OS phone “Flame” before the phone became unusable and Firefox OS was discontinued in December 2015. I held a “Test Day” event in my campus as well.
