We have all had that moment where we are the newbie at work. Yh, i know the feeling. You don't know who to talk to, who's on your side. Its a whole new world. And you are right. It is. Its where you daily meal is gonna be coming from, its where your mental and professional growth is gonna stem from. So you gotta be in it for the win.

Here's five helpful tips for starting new job.

1- Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help.
You're new, of course you need to ask questions to know your way around. Don't be shy. Besides being inquisitive and interested in knowing is a good characteristic of a dedicated employee. By asking questions, you won't make critical mistakes that will cost you your newly acquired job.

2- Get to work early and leave work late.
In a documentary i watched with world renowned actor Robert Dinero. He said he sored in the movie industry because he never left work before the boss for 10 years.
On a lighter note, it might be easier to not leave at all. Let your coworkers know you are the one with the strongest work ethics and you are always there when everyone leaves and when they come in. In your first week, you should always be at your desk, making everyone look bad in comparison. Your face should be the first thing they see when they come in and the last when they leave and the cackling visage haunting their night when they sleep. Lol.... Extreme? I think not.

3- Dress the part for the job you want and not the job you have.
If you show up in your normal boring clothes, everyone will get comfortable with your position but if you dress the part for the position you have your eyes on, it says 'I'm worth more'. You might just snag the high paying position you want.

4- Organize a social event with your coworkers in order to form strong bonds.
Getting along with your coworkers is one of the most important facets of having a new job. If you know them well enough, working as a team will not be a problem. In order to do this, it is good to make casual plans to get to know them. That way you have people on your side to vouch for you when you need it the most.

5- Hang in there until some else is hired.
This is where it becomes interesting and all of it was worth the effort. The instant someone is hired, i mean that very instant...regardless of how long you have been there, you transform from"that annoying fool who can't do anything" into "grizzled veteran with vast stores of experience and stalwart dependability". Just bid your time and eventually its the new person that will deal with all the slack while you sit back and laugh at them. You aint the fool no more.... Lol

Thats it for today guys
If you liked it, you know what to do...
Have a great weekend.
