Seriously, dear reader, this is the illusion way, way too many of us live in.
Clearly, if I came to you and said you are now to do what I say because that is how it is, you would resist.
But, when you are born into it, have it drilled into your head by the slaves that brought you up, you most likely accept the status quo as the only way things can be.

This is the insanity I found myself surrounded by in the 80s.
I started checking out once anarchism had found its way into my purview.
40 years of watching fools slit their own throats and call it 'good' is weighing heavy on me.
Luckily, the new kids ain't havin' it.

Every dollar of coins in your jar is a dollar out of the banking system that enslaves you.
The banks hold most of the coins, so they will be all for this.
