Orphans are kids with broken souls and bleeding hearts. Even if they have alive parents or relatives but CPS took them away to orphanages, they hardly have a chance to be happy ever... Moreover, they hardly will be able to make happy anybody else.
A vivid example of it is below.
It's Viktoria.
Despite her name, she isn't a winner in her life.
Her parents are alcohol addicted, and at the age of 11 she was taken away from her Grandma to an orphanage.
There a girl became absolutely uncontrolled: cigarettes, alcohol, early sexuality and outrage.
She didn't have any stops. Why?
Because she felt this world as a place of her hell. She didn't get love and care, she was abused by other teenagers in the orphanage. She felt betrayed when she understood her parents were indifferent to her life. The only hope was her Grandma.
"Maybe anybody in this world will love me?" - she thought.
And the old woman did! But CPS ruined this chance for upbringing a happy girl...
Orphans don't live their life, they struggle and fight for it every day. It's not life, it's a war, and all people around are enemies.
If they didn't get love, they can't transfer it either. Their future husbands, wives and kids can be limited in care and love as well.
Psychology says it's a common case because these kids have frozen hearts. They blocked their real feelings not to be vulnerable.
Viktoria did the same.
She became a mom at 16. Just to leave an orphanage. She married a young boy, she had a son.
A happy end? No.
She can't be called a good mom and wife. She wasn't cared, and she can't take care either. She is still a small girl who needs love and a mom.
She has psychology of a victim. She thinks all around must help her, just must. She can't spend money rationally because after the orphanage she is eager to buy everything, subconsciously, to compensate her poor past.
She didn't have an example of a good mom nearby, and now she have no skills to become her too...
So cold eyes..
