Guys, here is my piece of prices for Market Friday Community.
Now the world is changing much, and great transformations are happening every day. And, of course, such changes have touched prices.
If some high prices can be explained by logical economical processes, others are just a way of some owners to become more rich.
Hard times often make poor people more poor, but rich ones become even more rich. It's an immortal law.
Capitalism has led to the situation that the state can't control prices, that's why we have what we have... Sellers are out of laws and control, and they create a new reality for people.
Prices have become higher for about 30-50%. For everything.
Fruits and vegetables are the main food for my son and me, that's why I am interested in them more than in anything else, and unfortunately they have become high too.
Apples - 1$ per kg
Tomatoes - 3$
Cucumbers - 2$
Pepper - 4$
When I see greenery prices, it seems to be it was grown into golden soil...
A small piece of it - 1-2$
I try to choose microgreen now because for the same price of 2$ I'll get much more vitamins at least.
Young cabbage - 3$
It was my shock. It's overpriced for about 100-150%!
Old (ordinary cabbage from the last harvest) - 1$ per kg that is too much too!
Cabbage always was cheap, and anyone could buy it, but now being a vegan has become very expensive.
Now it's spring, and we should eat much fresh vegetables, but such prices make people use frozen one that is about 1$ per 500g.
Fruits are my heaven, but again prices...
Oranges - 1,5$
Kiwi - 2,5$
Grapefruit - 2$
Lemon - 1,3$
Bananas have become crazy now - almost 200$ overpriced! - 1,5$! Though they always cost 2 times less.
