Today is the Needlework Monday! I am pleased to participate again in this relay race: #NeedleworkMonday!
I had a girlfriend who sewed very well. Once she gave me a very beautiful bright dress. I was happy! Then we were invited to one event. I wanted to wear that dress, but my husband said that since the dress is without arms (with open shoulders), it will not be suitable for that event: since a strict dress code was required. Then I decided to do myself a light openwork shawl to cover my shoulders.
I picked up the thread under the color of the dress. Knitted a shawl crocheted.
A friend of mine gave me a brooch she made herself. I really love wearing this brooch on this shawl.
The shawl turned out very beautiful, festive. But I did not take into account one moment: the thread consisted of lyurix. Because of this the product was not soft but tough. When I was wearing it, I had an irritation on my skin. I thought and thought and decided to sew a lining of soft natural fabric.
Now I have a beautiful thing that I really love and dress with pleasure!
