I still continue knitting my white cardigan.
Since I decided to finish the back in garter stitch, it didn't take long. By today I have already finished this part of the cardigan.
I wasn't able to take a good picture of it as I haven't washed it yet and that's why the canvas is curled around the edges. 馃槙
As I already wrote, when I work on some big project, I always do something from small projects along the way. This time I decided to crochet a headband.
Our weather is very changeable now: in one moment a cold wind breaks, but then the sun comes out and it becomes hot. If it鈥檚 comfortable in a hat in the wind, but in the sun you get all wet and you have to take off your hat, and your ears immediately start to freeze. 馃榿馃檲 In order to somehow solve this issue, I decided to have a crocheted headband with me. I crochet it with ordinary single crochets. I like the way the canvas looks.
Some of you remember how last year I already crocheted a similar headband and it was very beautiful until my first wash of it. 馃槶馃槶馃槶 The bandage has faded. It was a shock! Now I only use this for sports, but I need something decent looking for everyday commuting. Remembering my previous sad experience, 鈽癸笍 I decided not to mix yarns of different colors, but simply decorate the headband after. In my work, I focus on the old bandage.
This is also easy crochet, so the work is moving along quickly: I have already crochet half of the headband.
