Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
As you may remember, I was working on a very difficult home top for me. After I put all the details together and then sewed it on a sewing machine, I got this:
馃檮馃槙馃檲 If you ask me how I did it, then I can鈥檛 answer you because I don鈥檛 know myself. My home top was inexplicably skewed and looked just awful 馃檲
One side was longer than the other, and the fabric was bristling in the chest area.
At first, I really wanted to just throw it away. Then I calmed down and put the top off for a few days. After a while, I calmed down so much that I ripped my seams and accepted the challenge to try it again but be much more careful when sewing.
In the meantime, I continue to analyze my wardrobe. This blouse is one of my favorites.
But this is already very old and, frankly, it needs to be thrown out. But I was so sorry to throw away my favorite thing and I decided to use it to practice sewing even seams. To do this, I removed the sleeves.
I sewed the hem on the short sleeves on the sewing machine and I again got a top to wear at home 馃槂
Of course, I understand that this is only for a year or two, because any fabric has its own time limit and sooner or later this blouse will have to be thrown away. But maybe then I won't be so sorry to do it 馃槂

Take care of yourself and be healthy!
