Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
Today I'm going to talk about my embarrassing failure 馃槶 I continued to work on the headband.
This is a long and tedious job, so I did it when my head was busy chatting with friends and my hands were doing monotonous crochet movements. Finally I finished it!
I didn't want to sew this at first but thought about sewing a big button and buttonhole on the back and buttoning it up. But my husband said that the button might interfere with me from behind and that it's better to just sew it on.
Looks good, right? I listened to my husband and made this. I always wash new knitted and crocheted items. I washed this headband as usual 馃槶馃槶馃槶
Do you see it???? I was shocked!!! 馃槷 I washed it by hand in cool water and this is what I got! 馃槶馃槶馃槶馃槶馃槶
Looks terrible! 馃檲 For a long time I did not come across that the threads faded. I didn't even think to check it before starting work. Moreover, not only the white stripes are spoiled, but the purple parts themselves look just creepy 馃槶馃槶馃槶
Of course, I didn鈥檛 throw it away, but I put it on for a walk and go with a proud look like: this is such a cool creative idea and not fadeding yarn 馃榿馃檲 But it's very embarrassing! 馃槙
To quickly move away from this unpleasant incident, I started a new crochet project - a black light fishnet sweater.
I also started knitting an alpaca hat for myself, reducing the number of loops.

Take care of yourself and be healthy!!!
