I graduated high school in the year of 2015 at eighteen years old and I was pregnant with my daughter Tamiyah. So many people told me that being a teen mom was going to be hard, so of course I had it in my mind that they was just overreacting. Shortly after, I ended up having her at 36 weeks on September 3rd, 2015 and she was a preemie weighing 4lbs,7oz; she was in the hospital for two weeks due to lack of oxygen in her lungs. I thought my baby wasn't going to make it, but prayer by prayer God saved my baby. On September 18, 2015 my baby was able to come home with me. Being a mother taught me alot of things and changed me in so many ways. For example, being a morning person, having a different outlook on certain things, and being a better person in and out. As of today, I now have another little girl named Khelani and she's healthy as ever. She was born on November 7, 2017. I wouldn't trade my babies for the world. So if anybody says being a teen mom is hard then they're not lying;you just gotta learn to stay calm at all times. It's going to get hard at some point, but as long as you got people supporting you then you'll be okay.
