I spent a few minutes thinking of a counterarguement for someone holding BTC over USD as a store of value but can't come up with one other than BTC being a more flexible asset than USD and not mainly tied to one geographical area. The latter, I'm not so sure, as I've read somewhere of Bitcoin being an "american asset". Adjusting to a deflationary world will be hard for the most part, is the debasement trade still valid too in a deflationary world?
