There were no tears in his eyes
Burden of desires but no cries
Working hard for that small price
His eyes were shinning with pride
Yes,
Because he was working holding all the dignity
Might be struggling with studies and perplexity
He was trying to catch the life's felicity
Trying to cope up with his difficulty
I stepped,
Questioned, What's life?
Astonished, Thought for a while
No one posed this question to me
He was still busy as honey bee
Oh,
it's a joke
Some cries and some smiles
Cries for the poor, smiles for the rich
It's a circle
Blackhole for the poor, moon for the rich
It's a competition
More for the poor, less for the rich
It's wealth
Not for the poor but all for the rich

Everyone comes to ask but no one helps
That's life from breath to death

This poem is inspired by a child who was working as labor. Last week, i went to a construction site which is close to my home. I found that one child was busy in working and he was working so hard that he was unaware of surrounding and drenched in sweat.
I felt bad for him. I tapped him and asked that why he is working when it's night outside?
He started deep conversation with me. I was shocked that at this small age he was uttering such deep words. He told me that he is working from past 3 days but he hasn't received his wage. He is waiting for his wages.
During day time he sells fruits in the streets and during night time he was working as mason. On one side when the rich are sleeping in their comfortable and cozy bedrooms, there are so many child who are working for meet the expenditures of life.
My mind was still questioning that what he will do with that money? My eyes filled with tears and with proud that he is a student and he will spend that money in his tuition fee. Child labor is abuse but no one enters this field with his own desire. Every child ,who does labor work, steps out from his comfort zone to erode their difficulties but most of them work throughout the life.
The Rich only listens their grief but he cannot wear their shoes. He cannot feel all those feelings with which the poor has gone through.Living life is challenging task in this era when competition is getting harder and harder.
This border between the rich and the poor will always exist. Because to the end of this word both classes will exist and struggles will go hand in hand. Still, there is one thing which can be helpful in this regard. We all should at least try to minimize the border which exists between these two classes. Our little contribution to add smiles will shine like a diamond in our's lives.

This is my second poem ever. I have titled this poem "That Boy". My first poem was Eye's Dust.
