Hey Hive!
We're back again with another Art Attack! If you're new to the series, this is where I share my drawings and the process behind them. A behind-the-scenes look at my artwork, if you will. This is not to say that I'm very good at art, or that I'm a professional in any way. In fact this is the opposite, and serves as a reminder to how I first started, and lets me track my progress too!
This next one is part of another series of drawings I started as as a subscription reward over on my Twitch channel! It's called Build a Chibi, where I basically draw a custom chibi character for a viewer based on a template I collated.
This next one was for one of my loyal viewers who has been watching my streams for a good few years now. He goes by Rakun on Twitch and I've actually done quite a few artworks for him to thank him for his continuous support of my channel.
I added some new male hairstyles since I thought the previous template was quite lacking, and Rakun actually picked one of them!
So this was the sketch I did based on his choices from the template.
After making some adjustments I did the outline:
Then I added the flat colours he chose from a colour palette I had ready.
Finally, after adding some shadows and highlights, as well as the white border to show it's a sticker, this was the result:
I thought this came out pretty well actually! It's quite a bit fairer than I would have personally liked, but Rakun seemed to be happy with it so I left it at that.
Honestly I really wish I could turn these into actual stickers so I can feel my art irl with my own hands but this is a good substitute I suppose, and it makes it easier to send anyway.
Thanks for reading!
