durch die aktuelle pandemische Lage geschehen viele Dinge wieder (nach kurzer Unterbrechung) oder auch immer noch online. Ein gerne verwendetes Tool für Sitzungen ist neben Microsoft Teams (sehr teuer afaik) und BigBlueButtons (muss man halt selber hosten) auch Zoom aus US.
Falls ihr euch das mal gefragt habt: man kann in Zoom sehr einfach ganze Sessions aufnehmen, und zwar mit der quelloffenen Software OBS Studio (https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio). OBS ist eigentlich primär ein Streaming Client (heißt das so?), um zB auf Twitch oder Youtube zu streamen. Nebenher ist aber eben auch möglich, den Video Stream, statt ihn zu einem RTMP Server zu schicken, in einer Datei zu speichern - quasi unser Use Case.
Das Projekt sollte auch unter Linux idR im Paketmanager liegen, bei meiner Distro (Arch && pacman basiert) nimmt man dafür
sudo pacman -Suy && sudo pacman -S obs-studio
, für andere Plattformen zB hier schauen (https://obsproject.com/wiki/install-instructions#ubuntumint-installation) oder selber bauen.
Das Aufzeichnen geht überraschend einfach, unten links bei Szenen (welche einfach vordefinierte Schablonen mit mehreren Quellen plus Effekten sind) seht ihr mein Zoom Preset: Ein Window Capture, mit dem ich das Zoom-Fenster abgreife
, ein Audio Output Capture für meine Lautsprecher, um den reinkommenden Sound zu greifen
, und zusätzlich ein Audio Input Capture für mein Mikrofon, damit meine Voice auch im Recording landet. Die bunten Balken daneben regeln die Lautstärke, hier erstmal schauen, wenn kein Ton!
Dann nur noch rechts unten auf Start recording drücken, und los geht's! Meistens passen die Default Settings schon ganz gut :)

due to the current pandemic situation many things are happening again (after short interruption) or even still online. A popular tool for sessions is besides Microsoft Teams (very expensive afaik) and BigBlueButtons (you have to host it yourself) also Zoom from US.
In case you ever wondered: you can easily record whole sessions in Zoom, using the open source software OBS Studio (https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio). OBS is actually primarily a streaming client (is that what it's called?) for streaming to Twitch or Youtube. But it is also possible to save the video stream in a file instead of sending it to a RTMP server - our use case.
The project should also be in the package manager under Linux, with my distro (Arch && pacman based) you take for it

Capturing is surprisingly easy, at the bottom left of scenes (which are simply predefined templates with multiple sources plus effects) you can see my zoom preset: A window capture, with which I capture the zoom window.
an Audio Output Capture for my speakers, to grab the incoming sound
, and additionally an Audio Input Capture for my microphone, so that my voice also ends up in the recording. The colored bars next to it control the volume, look here first, if no sound!
Then just press Start recording in the lower right corner and off you go! Most of the time the default settings fit quite well :)
