Trzeciego dnia przyjaciele Chrystusa, przyszedłszy na to miejsce o świcie, odkryli, że grób jest pusty, a kamień odrzucony na bok. Na różne sposoby zdali sobie sprawę z nowego cudu, jednak właściwie nie zdali sobie sprawy, że tej nocy umarł świat. Patrzyli na pierwszy dzień nowego stworzenia, z nowym niebem i nową ziemią, a Bóg niczym ogrodnik znów przechadzał się po ogrodzie, w chłodzie nie wieczora, ale poranka.
